Description

Janette Anne Dimech (10 October 1951), known professionally as Jeanette, born in London, spent her teenage years in Barcelona before settling in Madrid. Her distinctive voice makes her instantly recognizable. Her early days with the group PIC-NIC resulted in a number-one hit, “Cállate, niña.” Later, she achieved solo superhits like “Soy rebelde,” “Estoy triste,” “Porque te vas,” and “Promesas, promesas.” All these hits are included on this double CD, along with previously unreleased rarities from that era.
